Research Skills

Extracellular Electrophysiology

Recording and analysis of neural population activity in non-model organisms (e.g., Hydrolagus colliei, Porichthys notatus)

Experimental Software Design

Developed a statistics-based adaptive Auditory Evoked Potential (AEP) acquisition system. Programming languages: MATLAB and Python.

Experimental Hardware Design

Designed and prototyped a head-tracking headband. Created Arduino-based sensor systems.

3D Modeling and Printing

Experience with CAD and mesh-based modeling using Autodesk Fusion 360 and Blender; fabrication via 3D printing.

Scientific Illustration

Created detailed illustrations of model organisms and experimental paradigms. Tools: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. For commissions, see Zukan Studio.
